Martin C. Parkins (1958-2011)
It is with deep sadness that we mark the passing of Martin C. Parkins, who was the Foucault Society’s first Executive Director (2004-08). Martin died suddenly in Boston on April 4, 2011. The Foucault Society extends our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Martin’s funeral and burial took place on Saturday, April 16 in Battle Creek, Michigan, at the Farley-Estes Dowdle Funeral Home, 105 Capital Avenue, NE, Battle Creek MI 49017; (800) 962-5527.
A memorial service was held at Boston College in St. Joseph’s Chapel on Thursday, April 28, at 1:00p.m.
